This three-hour professional development workshop explores the pedagogical role of touch within the Classical Pilates system. Focusing on tactile cueing alongside visual, auditory, and experiential modalities, the workshop examines how integrated cueing strategies support motor learning, proprioception, and efficient movement organisation.
Through practical application on the Reformer, Wunda Chair, and Cadillac, participants will refine their ability to use touch ethically, intentionally, and effectively within a professional teaching context. Emphasis is placed on clarity of intention, informed consent, and the appropriate selection of cueing methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
The workshop supports Pilates instructors in developing greater instructional precision and adaptability, enhancing the overall effectiveness of their teaching practice.

AUTHENTIC PILATES EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL
Olga began her professional career as a classical dancer with The Australian Ballet in 1971, where she was first introduced to the transformative power of Pilates during those formative years.
She toured nationally and internationally with the company for seven years before expanding her creative career into acting, enjoying a successful period performing on stage and television from 1979 to 1984.
Her passion for movement never wavered. In 1985, Olga became a certified fitness instructor, and in 1986 she opened her first business, Designing Moves. Through this venture she taught body conditioning and movement classes to aspiring actors, worked as a freelance dance coach at the McDonald School of Performing Arts, and managed the corporate gymnasium at Carlton United.
Over the years, Olga trained in numerous Pilates studios, but it was her immersion in the Authentic Pilates Method that truly inspired her. Drawn to the integrity, depth, and lineage of the New York Pilates tradition, she became a certified instructor of The NY Pilates Method and Romana’s Pilates in 2003.
Olga is the founder and director of Authentic Pilates Studio in Sydney Australia and the Principal Trainer of the Authentic Pilates Education International teacher training program. She has presented workshops and training seminars nationally and internationally.
